Senior Living Innovations, LLC (“Senior Living Innovations” “we,” or “us”) respects the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, share and protect your information in connection with our websites (collectively, the “Site”), and our products, services and tools related to the Site (including, but not limited to, mobile and other software applications downloaded from the Site or obtained elsewhere, including any mobile applications, such as the Realtime Senior Living™ Facilities App and Realtime Senior Living™ Search Query App (collectively, the “Application”, and the Application with other products, services and tools related to the Site shall be referred to herein, collectively, as the “Services”). This policy applies only to information we collect through the Site or Services and any emails, texts or other electronic communications sent through the Site or Services. This Privacy Policy is part of, and governed by, our Terms of Use.

Please note that except as otherwise described below, this policy does not apply to any information collected by third parties (including websites that you may access through the Services or Site), or collected by us through means other than the Services or Site. For example, when visitors seek to apply to an assisted living facility, the Services may redirect the user to the assisted living facility’s site to submit an application. Information collected through such a third-party site is not subject to this privacy policy, but is instead subject to the assisted living facility’s privacy policy. Similarly, information that visitors submit directly to an assisted living facility is not covered by this policy. Nor does this policy apply to data submitted to Senior Living innovations by visitors through means other than the Site or Services (such as through email or a telephone call).

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

The policy may be updated on occasion and therefore, we advise all visitors to check the date of our privacy policy whenever you visit the Services or Site to see whether it has been modified since your last visit. Your continued use of the Site or Services after we make changes is deemed to be your acceptance of those changes. The date that this Privacy Policy was last revised is identified at the top of the page. You are responsible for periodically visiting this Privacy Policy to check for any changes.

Who Uses Our Site and Services

We make our Site and Services available to different types of visitors. As discussed further below, the information that the Site and Services collect from and share about a user may depend on the user type. An individual may be one or more of these types of visitors depending on the nature of his or her interactions with our Site and Services.

• Senior Living Facility: A homeowner or property manager who has the authority to advertise on the Site or Services.

• User: An individual who uses the Site or Services for any purpose other than as a homeowner or property manager who is advertising on the Site or Service. Users may be using to browse Senior Living Facility profiles, apply for or contact an assisted living facility through the Site or Services, and/or to read or otherwise engage with Senior Living Facility research and other content on the Site or Services or through email.

Collectively, Senior Living Facilities and Users are referred to herein as “visitors.”

Children Under the Age of 13.

The Site and Services are not intended for children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. Collection of Personal Information

We collect both Personal Information and Other Information about visitors in connection with the Site and Services. “Personal Information” is information that we can directly associate with a specific person without additional information, such as an email address or phone number. “Other Information” is any information we collect that is not Personal Information. We may combine Personal Information with Other Information, in which case we will treat the combined information as Personal Information. We also may combine information that we collect about you through the Site and Services with additional information that we or third parties collect in other contexts—such as our communications with you via email or phone, or your customer service records. In those circumstances, we will treat the combined information in accordance with this Policy.

You can visit the Site and use some of the other Services without submitting any Personal Information. However, as described below, we do automatically collect some Other Information when you use the Site and Services. The Site and Services also make it possible for you to submit Personal Information in a variety of contexts. For example, if you register as a Senior Living Facility or User you will be required to provide Personal Information.

Information about Users. We may collect various types of Personal Information about Users in connection with the Site and Services, including:

  • Name
  • Placement Agency/Organization and Job Title
  • Phone
  • Address
  • Email address
  • Username and password
  • Information about which assisted living facilities that the User researches, contacts or applies to through the Site or Services
  • Payment information

Information about Senior Living Facilities. We may collect various types of Personal Information about Senior Living Facilities, including:

  • Facility Name, type and room availability
  • Address
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Username and password
  • Facility contacts and job titles
  • Financial account information
  • Professional credentials and experiences of facility contacts

We may ask for additional information about Visitors in order to determine whether they are a good fit for the Site or Services. Information may be requested through such means as applications, telephone screenings, and reference checks. We also may collect rating information about Senior Living Facilities through our Users. More specifically, Users may be allowed to rate Senior Living Facilities through the Site or Services, and we retain this information.

Surveys. From time to time, we may ask our visitors to participate in surveys. Such surveys may be used to collect both Personal and Other Information. Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary, and you therefore have a choice whether or not to disclose your information.

Other Information collected automatically through the Services. We also collect Other Information automatically through the Services. This may include information such as your IP address and domain name, your location as inferred from your IP address, your Internet service provider, the date and time of your visit to the Site or Service, your use of the Site or Services during your current session and over time (including the pages you view and the files you download), the URLs from the websites you visit before and after navigating to the Site or Services, your computer’s or mobile device’s operating system and browser type, and your software and hardware attributes (including device IDs). We may collect such information using a variety of mechanisms, including the following:

  • Server Logs. When you visit the Site or Services, we automatically receive and record certain information from your computer (or other device) and your browser. This may include data such as your IP address, the pages you visit or features you use on the Site or Services, and your general geographic location as inferred from your IP address. To obtain such information, we may use server logs or similar applications that recognize your computer or other devices and gather information about their online activity.

  • Cookies. We also use cookies on the Services. Cookies are small files that are stored on your computer or other device by your web browser. A cookie allows the Site or Services to recognize whether you have visited before and may store user preferences and other information. For example, cookies can be used to collect information about your use of the Site or Services during your current session and over time (including the pages you view and the files you download), your computer or device’s operating system and browser type, your Internet service provider, your domain name and IP address, your general geographic location, the website you visited prior to accessing the Site or Services, and the link you use to leave the Site or Services.     • Essential Cookies: These cookies are essential to the functioning of the Site or Services and allow you to interact with and use the features of the Site or Services. You can also delete cookies from your computer. However, if you choose to block or delete cookies, certain features of the Site or Services may not operate correctly.

  • Pixel tags. The Site, Services or the emails that you receive from us may use an application known as a “pixel tag” (also known as a “clear gif” or “web beacon”). A pixel tag is an electronic file that usually consists of a single-pixel image. It can be embedded in a web page or in an email to transmit information, which could include Personal Information. For example, it allows an email sender to determine whether a user has opened a particular email. Deleting or blocking cookies will not stop the collection of information through pixel tags and similar tracking mechanisms. However, as discussed in the section below titled “Third-Party Advertising Companies,” you can take steps to limit how such information is used for advertising purposes. Even in that event, we may continue to use the information for other purposes, including analytics.

  • Local storage. We also may use HTML5 local storage to collect and retain certain information about you. Data in local storage is not deleted when you clear your cookies, but it can be deleted by following the instructions provided by your browser developer.

We may partner with certain third parties to collect, analyze, and use some of the Personal Information or Other Information described above. For example, we may allow third parties to set cookies or use pixel tags on the Services or in email communications from Senior Living Innovations. This information may be used for a variety of purposes, including analytics and targeted advertising, as described below.

Information collected on third-party sites. In some cases, we use the mechanisms described above to track visitors when they navigate to and on third-party sites. For example, we may use cookies, pixels, scripts, or other tracking mechanisms to identify when a user of the Site or Services goes to the website of one of our business partners and applies for an assisted living facility. This information enables us, among other things, to analyze how many applicants for a specific facility opening learned about it on our Site or Services. Although we do not disclose Personal Information combined with such tracking data to our business partners, we may provide de-identified information and analytics as discussed in the section below titled “Disclosure of Your Information.”

Use of Your Information

We may use Personal and Other Information for a variety of purposes, as described below.

Personal Information. We may use the Personal Information that we collect about visitors, including Senior Living Facilities and Users, to:

  • Provide the Site and Services to you and other users;

  • Fulfill the terms of any agreement you have with us, respond to your requests, or otherwise complete a transaction that you initiate, including payment processing;

  • Review, evaluate, and verify the credentials and experience of visitors, including through screenings and reference checks;

  • Post facility opening notices;

  • Transmit Users’ requests for information to Senior Living Facilities;

  • Send administrative communications related to the Site or Services;

  • Communicate with visitors through email notices, newsletters, and updates, including promotional communications about topics, products, and services that we believe will be of interest to visitors;

  • Engage in analysis and research concerning the Site and Services, improve visitors’ experiences with the Site and Services, and otherwise enhance the quality of our products and services;

  • Create a custom experience for visitors and tailor our products and Site and Services to visitors’ individual interests and preferences;

  • Comply with legal and/or regulatory requirements, or to protect our rights and interests; and

  • Compile and share aggregated information.

Other Information. We use the Other Information that we collect for these same purposes, as well as to:

  • Count and recognize visitors to the Site and Services and analyze how visitors use the Site and Services;

  • Engage in analytics or targeted advertising as described in the “Third-Party Advertising Companies” section below; and

  • For any other business purpose permitted by law.

Disclosure of Your Information

We may disclose aggregated information about our visitors. Also, we may disclose your Personal Information and Other Information to: (i) our subsidiaries and affiliates; (ii) contractors, service providers and other third parties we use to support our business and who are contractually bound to keep your Personal Information confidential and only use it for purposes for which we disclose it to them; (iii) to a buyer or other successor to all or substantially all of our assets, or to the assets of any division related hereto, through merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution or other sale or transfer; (iv) to comply with any court order, law or legal process; (v) to enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us; or (vi) if we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect our rights, property, or safety, or those of our customers or others.

In addition, we may share Personal and Other Information with other visitors of the Services where appropriate. For example, if you are a Senior Living Facility and submit information to us for contacting you, we may share that information with Users who are interested in learning more about you. Similarly, we may share a User’s contact information with a Senior Living Facility to enable them to communicate directly.

Your Direct Sharing of Personal Information.

The Site and Services may enable you to share Personal Information directly through the Site and Services. For example, the Site and Services may include an opportunity for Users to upload a request for information or an application for a facility opening to share with a Senior Living Facility. The collection, use, and disclosure of your Personal and Other Information will be subject to the privacy policies of the third-party websites or services, and not this Policy.

Links and Plugins to third parties

Please be advised that we may provide plugins or links to third party sites or services (such as Facebook like button or the Twitter follow button) from our Services or Site as a service to our visitors, but we have no ability to control, and are not responsible for, the privacy and data collection, use, and disclosure practices of such third parties and their privacy policies may differ from the Senior Living Innovations’ Privacy Policy. Therefore, we encourage you to review and understand the privacy policies of such third parties. Even if you do not click on plugins or third party links, they may collect information about you, such as your IP address and the pages that you view. They also may set and/or access cookies.

Third Party Advertising Companies

We partner with certain third parties to collect Other Information to engage in analytics, auditing, research, and reporting. These third parties may use web logs, pixel tags, or similar online tracking mechanisms, and they may set and access cookies on your computer or other device.

Among other providers, the Site and Services use Google Analytics to help collect and analyze certain information for the purposes discussed above. You may opt out of the use of cookies by Google Analytics by going to

The Site and Services also may enable third-party tracking mechanisms to collect Other Information on our Site or Services over time and across unaffiliated websites for use in online behavioral advertising. Your Choices About Our Collection, Use and Disclosure of Your information.

We strive to provide you with choices about your Personal Information. You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. You may be able to choose whether or not to allow the Site or Services to collect and use real-time information about your device’s location through the device’s settings. However, if you disable or refuse cookies or block the use of other tracking technologies, some portions of the Site or Services may be inaccessible or not function properly.

If your email address or other contact information is provided during the registration process, we may occasionally send you newsletters and other communications that promote the use of our services and other advertising purposes.
